All accepted abstracts will be included in the Annual Meeting Abstract Supplement of the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Neurology (JVIN) Special Edition. Accepted abstracts will be published as submitted. Please click here for more information(www.jvin.org).
Abstracts previously presented at a national / international medical conference may be submitted to ICIN. The meeting, location, and the date of previous presentation must be cited. Abstracts cannot be previously published. Failure to honor the policies will result in the abstract being withdrawn or barred from presentation.
Authors will have the option of submitting their abstract for one of the following options:
Poster presentation only.
Either platform or poster presentation.
We recommended authors not to include tables or figures in the online abstract submission process, unless essential for and no alternative exits to present their research findings (maximum of 1 table and 2 images may be permitted in those circumstances).
Trade names must be avoided whenever possible.
The committee will endeavor to schedule the abstracts according to the author’s preferences but reserve the right to decide on the final form of presentation.
The presenting author is required to register for the conference in order to present the abstract.
All presenting authors are expected to stand by their posters for the full duration of their designated stand by times.
Only abstracts with results will be accepted for review. Results may be preliminary and the final results can be updated in the presentation or poster.
All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication.
All submitted abstracts will be forwarded to the review committee. Notifications regarding the status will be sent once the review process is complete.
All authors with influence over the content of the abstract must be disclosed. When submitting the abstract online, please name the list of authors and the corresponding financial disclosure.
Guidelines for Submission:

First, middle and last names
Affiliation details: department, institution/hospital, city, state (If relevant) and country.
Abstract title: Limit to 25 words and the title should clearly indicate the nature of the study.
Use capital for the first letter of each word as appropriate; do not capitalize the entire title.
No underlining or use of bolding.
Do not italicize the entire title.
Example: “Sphenoidal Segment of the Middle Cerebral Artery: Angiographic Review and Relevance in Mechanical Thrombectomy”.
The abstract should state briefly and clearly the purpose, methods, results and conclusion of the work. Limit the word limit of the abstract to 300. (Title, references & disclosure not included)
Background & Purpose: Clearly state the purpose of the abstract.
Methods: Describe your selection of observation or experimental subjects clearly.
Results: Present your results in a logical sequence.
Conclusion: Emphasize new and important observations of the study and the conclusion drawn from them.
The Submission Process:
To submit the abstract, please click on “Abstract Submission” available a www.icin.onlineand complete a multi-step process by entering all the required fields. Start the submission process by clicking on “create new”. Be sure you read the directions of each page carefully and click on “save and continue” at the end of every page. ICIN Abstract Withdrawal Policy:
It is ICIN’s expectation that all accepted abstracts will, under all circumstances be presented at the conference. If the presenting author is unable to present the abstract, a co-author is eligible to present on their behalf. Failure to present an accepted abstract may cause in author(s) to be ineligible for abstract submission at next year’s annual conference.
